Shipping days and deadlines

Our orders are shipped three times a week only to guarantee freshness:

  • Departure Days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Orders placed between Wednesday and Sunday will ship on Monday for Tuesday or Wednesday delivery.
  • Expected Delivery: Depending on your location, delivery occurs within 24 to 48 hours from our facility in Belgium.

Note: Place your order latest on Monday if you wish to enjoy your products over the weekend, as our courier does not store fresh items over the weekend.

Delivery carrier and times

We exclusively use DHL Express to ensure fast and reliable service throughout Europe. Expect delivery within 1-2 business days post-departure, though remote areas may require additional time. DHL Express doesn’t do deliveries over the weekend so to avoid packages being stored in a DHL warehouse over the weekend the latest departure day of the week is Wednesday.

Remote areas

For very remote areas, including islands or distant villages, delivery may extend by 1-2 days. To ensure timely arrival, especially before weekends, consider placing orders on Sunday for Monday departures.

Packaging and handling of fresh products

Your order is shipped in thermo-insulated packaging to maintain freshness and cooling up to 96 hours. It’s essential that someone is available to receive the delivery, store it in the fridge, and follow the provided handling guidelines for optimal quality.

  • Unopened vacuum-sealed meat: Stays fresh for up to 2 weeks.
  • Once opened: Best consumed within 2-3 days.

We deliver to the following countries:

European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, UK, Switzerland and Norway.

Delivery cost is €25 across the EU, with free shipping for orders over €250. Note that customs and/or VAT may apply for orders to Switzerland and Norway.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Humans of Wagyu is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven't received your order within three (3) days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@humansofwagyu.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
